All About Credits
Have a credit from a 2020 Scor! Camp cancellation? Use it NOW to sign up for Scor! programs.
YES! See lots of other Q&As below!
You probably have a credit if you registered for a camp that was cancelled and did not donate your registration. We are happy to look that up for you. Simply email us through the button below. (We don't have a system by which you can look that up yourself.)
A Scor! Credit is like a store credit. It is basically a balance that you can only use at a given store. So, a Scor! credit is a balance (a dollar amount) that you can use toward the purchase of a Scor! offering.
No, your Scor! credit is not like a bank account, as you cannot withdraw funds (or get a refund). Instead, it's more like store credit or a gift card, where you can use the value to purchase something else in the future.
We'll have to look that up for you. Simply email us through the button below.
You can use your credit to sign up for a Scor! offering. See above for course and membership offerings that you can use your credit for. Your other choice is to use the credit for an in-person Scor! National Reunion (summer 2023).
Anytime. Choose an offering & sign up!
Most of the costs involved with creating your Scor! experience are incurred well before the event. As a result, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds (including cash, check, credit card, Paypal, etc.).
Your 2020 credit has been extended through December 31, 2023.
Yes. We have records of everyone's credits.
Start at our In-Person Events Page. When you fill out the application, your credit will be automatically deducted from your balance. If there are any technical problems, Scor! staff can correct them for you.
Yes, you can use your credit for a one-time annual membership. If you see the links above for membership, then you are welcome to sign up! We can even customize your use of your credit for the Membership. Contact us if interested!
Besides signing up for our courses, signing up for our annual membership, or using your credit at an in-person event in the summer of 2023, a new option is to request a coupon for merchandise at the Scor! Store. (Right now we have string sheet music for sale.) A final option is to convert your credit into a donation and receive a tax deductible receipt.
Our in-person events are happening in for July-August of 2023. Simply apply from our In-Person Events Page. If the dates don't work out for you, you'll still have plenty of time to decide to use your credit in our ongoing programs.
If you wish, you can convert your credit into a tax-deductible charitable donation at any time as many have already done. You can choose to do this anytime through the end of 2023. Just email us to let us know. (Symerge is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt public charity formed for the purposes of the public benefit.)
Your credit is a dollar amount based on how much you paid for your Scor! Camp that you didn't get to use. You'll be able to apply this dollar amount or a portion of it toward a course, membership, or an in-person event in the summer of 2023. (A credit with Scor! is much like store credit... you can purchase something in the store with the dollar amount of your credit.)
Not exactly. Your credit is not a guarantee of a specific future event at a specific time or place, or a free pass to a future event. It is a balance, which represents an amount of money, that you can use for another Scor! offering. You may not get the exact same item or experience that you originally wanted, but you can choose from any current offering. (Like having a store credit or gift card, you can purchase what's in stock or wait for more things to be in stock, but you can't purchase something that is out of stock.)
I have a credit from a Scor! Camp in 2020 that was cancelled. What’s happening with that?
We have a record of your credit. Your credit is available through December 31, 2023, so there’s still time to use your credit. Here are 3 things you can do...
We appreciate your patience in waiting for a time in which you have more options to redeem your credit in the way you wish. This has certainly been an unusual time!
What was your cancellation policy again?
