3-8 week opportunities for deep-dive topical learning, improvement, & fun!
Courses are opportunities for you to focus in on enriching your knowledge, improving your playing, & have fun with music, too! In our engaging deep-dive courses, you'll spend 3-8 weeks learning lots of important & rarely shared playing tips, and you'll get to play unique & beautiful music! Courses allow for more focus and depth over time, so are very effective at helping you grow & improve. Transform your playing through our courses!
Topical Individual Instruction
a series of 4 live one-on-one sessions (begin anytime)
Want one-on-one help to learn and grow in your playing? Pick a topic or request one of your own, and receive a series of 4 live and interactive individual online sessions, catered exactly to your level and needs. Written resources also included!
Self-Paced Courses: Current Offerings are below!
Learn on your own schedule at your own pace; ask questions anytime!
You can begin a self-paced course anytime! When you sign up, you'll get access to all the course material at once. Then, you can go through the material at your own pace. The course is labeled with pacing suggestions and the number of weeks is estimated based on about 1 day a week for part of a day. You'll pay a one-time fee, & then the material is always ready & waiting for you whenever you want it. You can ask questions of the instructor anytime, and you'll have access to the material for as long as you need.
Fiddle Fantastically!
a fun fiddling experience for violin, viola, cello, & bass; a self-paced course
Fiddling sounds a lot different than other styles such as classical. But how can YOU sound like that? Have fun with fiddle tune melodies, & learn techniques, tips, & tricks to fine-tune your fiddling to sound authentic, and, well, fiddle-y!

How long will the courses last?
Our interactive courses are 6 weeks long. (Our self-paced courses can be up to 8 weeks.) You can sign up for our current 6-week interactive courses above, or a series of 4 topical individual instruction sessions.

There are a lot of courses. What should I do first?
Our interactive courses are offered during specific dates, so you can join us for the current course (listed above). We also have self-paced courses that you can begin any time and do at your own pace. Additionally, you can check out upcoming courses below!

I have a credit from a cancelled Scor! Camp. Can I use it for any program?
Yes! You can use your credit to sign up for one of our interactive courses, being offered at intervals throughout the year. You can also use your credit for an annual membership or request a coupon for merchandise at the Scor! Store. When a new signup with credits is available, you'll find out via email. (Your other choice is to use the credit for an in-person event in the summer of 2023, as your credit will last through December 31, 2023.) Sure, you can find free videos on YouTube. What you can't know is the quality and accuracy of the instruction, the expertise of the instructor, and how the content applies uniquely to you. We can help you learn, grow, and be inspired in a way that random searches for YouTube videos cannot! Also, this is your chance to support quality musical education, and to ensure that there is still music , learning, and beauty in our world for years to come.

What if I'm already taking lessons?
Lesson teachers don't have time to address everything. Scor! programs are designed to fill in that gap. Instead of duplicating what you get in private lessons, we'll help you put into practice what you've been hearing from your lesson teacher. You'll benefit immensely by combining Scor! offerings with lessons. You'll learn so much more when you have added instruction from another viewpoint. Our instruction tends to be more topical, and more sequential, so you can apply it to anything you're working on in lessons, and it will enhance your learning a great deal.
