Join us in this fun fiddling experience for violin, viola, cello, & bass. Play fun tunes & learn the ins & outs of fiddle style for 6 weeks!
You can begin this self-paced course anytime! When you sign up, you'll get access to all the course material at once. Then, you can go through the material at your own pace. The course is labeled with pacing suggestions and the number of weeks is estimated based on about 2-3 days a week for 1-2 hours. You'll pay a one-time fee, & then the material is always ready & waiting for you whenever you want it. You can ask questions of the instructor anytime, and you'll have access to the material for as long as you need.

Ms. Bultman is a co-founder of Scor! and has spent the last 2 decades teaching & coaching thousands of adult string players. She earned her Bachelor’s & Master’s Degrees from the Eastman School of Music, studying performance, pedagogy, chamber music, & composition. She has over 20 years of experience teaching at all levels (beginner to collegiate), and specializes in adult string players. Since the age of 14, she has played professionally in many orchestras and chamber groups. She composes well-loved music for strings, and frequently performs her own compositions, in addition to classical, fiddle, sacred, and unique free improvisation duos with husband Kyle.
It's a self-paced course where we'll play fun fiddle tunes & learn how to sound more authentically fiddley!
What level should I be to participate?
This course is designed for many levels of players, from lifelong amateurs to those who have played a few years. The level of the tunes ranges from slow and simpler to faster and more challenging. You can play the pieces at the tempo and pace of your choosing, so the level can be adjustable. If you have recently begun playing (in the last 2 years), some of the music will be quite challenging for you, but something you can keep working toward in the future. Included will be 3 tunes from Beth Bultman's On the Road collection: Two Little Fiddlers, Barbara Jean, & Thunder Ribbons. You'll receive a FREE copy of On the Road delivered to your doorstep as a part of the course.
What type of commitment will this require?
This course is to enrich your knowledge and inspire your playing. It won't take up too much time or be super intense. Plan on spending a 1-2 hours on it about 2-3 times per week for 6 weeks, and/or practicing and enjoying the music at your own pace!
If I decide I no longer want to participate in the course, can I have a refund?
No, we cannot give you a refund, because your fee is for access to the course materials, which will be made available to you. If this becomes an inconvenient time for you, you can always access the course materials and class recordings later, and still receive significant benefit from them.
