Current infrastructure needs include...
setting up a workspace for sheet music sorting, selection, & storage & associated moving costs
acquiring new sheet music for a variety of levels and ensembles
many shelving units for storage of event supplies & equipment, and easy access of sheet music, music binders, & event supplies
a generator to ensure events can continue during power outages (water (bathrooms!), refrigeration (food!), crucial HVAC, lighting, safety, etc.)
mini storage sheds for some of the event equipment
patio furniture & accessories for dining at events
technology upgrades (current computers are formally obsolete & 8 yrs old)
- & many other one-time purchases that help events run smoothly.

Donation Methods
1. Credit Card (Single/Year-end OR Recurring donation)
Click "Give with Credit Card" below. You'll be taken to our giving platform, where you can press the red "Give" button on the upper right, then enter your card info. You'll be given the option to do a single donation or a recurring monthly donation with your card.
2. Electronic Funds Transfer (bank account withdrawal) (Single/Year-end OR Recurring Donation)
Click "Give with Electronic Funds Transfer" below. You'll be taken to our giving platform, where you can press the red "Give" button on the upper right. On the second page, press the bank button (next to the card button), then enter your banking info. You'll be given the option to do a single donation or a recurring monthly donation.
3. Mail (Single/Year-End Donation)
Make out a paper check to Scor! and mail it to 67 Pembroke St. #1 Rochester, NY 14620.
Other Giving Methods
4. Fidelity
If you already have an account with Fidelity, you can give to Symerge electronically through Fidelity as others have done. We are approved to receive electronic funds transfers through gifts given in this manner.
5. QCD (Qualified Charitable Distribution)
Eliminate tax on your IRA distributions & support Scor! in the process! IRA owners age 70½ or over can transfer to charity tax-free each year. These transfers are called qualified charitable distributions or QCDs. For those who are at least 73 years old, QCDs count toward your IRA’s Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) for the year.
Normally, IRA distributions to you, including RMDs, are taxable when received. With a QCD, however, these distributions become tax-free!
QCDs to Symerge (aka Scor!) must be made directly by your IRA provider to Symerge. (Do not have the payment made out to yourself first, as it will not qualify as tax free.)
To set up a QCD, just contact your IRA provider to arrange a transaction to Symerge (EIN number 26-3884911)
6. NEW: Donate Stock
Put stock in something that matters, and donate stock online in minutes. Avoid Capital Gains tax while deducting full market value of your gift, resulting in significant cash savings. Click the button below, and you'll be led to our secure service that will ask for the brokerage and securities info related to that which you wish to donate. It's easy & a great way to support the cause!
7. Offline Electronic Funds Transfer (bank account withdrawal) (Single/Year-end OR Recurring Donation)
Contact us via email to get a secure electronic form by which you can submit your donation information. Your donation can be one-time or recurring through this method. This saves Scor! the fees that paypal or credit cards charge.
8. PayPal (Single/Year-end OR Recurring donation)
Click "Donate" below. No PayPal account is required. For credit or debit cards, simply use the button below, then press "Donate with a debit or credit card". Recurring donations are also possible through PayPal if you have a paypal account.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, according to IRS rules, your donation is tax deductible. We are an IRS 501(c)3 public charity.

Will I receive a receipt?
Each January, we send out year-end donation receipts for each donor whose annual donations total $300 or more. If you need a receipt but your total donations were below $300 for the year, you can simply request one. If for some reason you didn't receive one and need one, please do let us know. (Email us through button above.)
Help Scor! Recover & Build Again
Scor! almost disappeared amidst the pandemic shutdowns, but we are committed to recovery & rebuilding! Many organizations like Scor! continue to struggle to recover with large burdens of debt from devastating pandemic losses. Scor! is not out of the woods yet, and much support is still needed. Also, please help us build the Scor! Workshop and finish creating a special home for Scor! In-Person Events that you can enjoy for years to come. Thank you, donors, for standing beside us!
