You can use your FlexNote Balance to sign up for one of our online programs at a few opt-in periods during the year. Creator's Corner & Scor! Strings Annual Membership are now open through December 31. You'll have your own special way to sign up and use your FlexNote balance. Sign up through the buttons above or below.

  • How can I use my FlexNote balance?

    You can use your FlexNote balance to sign up for one of our online programs at certain opt-in periods during the year. We are holding an opt-in period through Dec 31, during which you can sign up for Creator's Corner &/or Scor! Annual Membership with your FlexNote balance. See above for the buttons to sign up. Generally, you can use your FlexNote balance to sign up for available Scor! programs.

  • Can I use my FlexNote balance anytime for a Scor! Strings Membership?

    You can only use it at certain opt-in periods. It is now open to use your FlexNote balance for the Annual Scor! Strings Membership through Dec 31, 2021. (There is a $200 FlexNote conversion minimum, so you can do the annual membership with your FlexNote balance, but not the monthly.)

  • Are you keeping track of my FlexNote balance?

    Yes. We have extensive records and are keeping track of everything. We will send the normal FlexNote statements in January, in which the principal balance statement will show your Scor! online program purchase and/or donation. If you have more than one FlexNote, we will deduct any Scor! program tuition or donations from your oldest FlexNote.

  • Are there any other options to use my FlexNote balance?

    Besides signing up for our current available options in our online program, waiting for an open enrollment period to use it for a different online program option, or waiting to use it at an in-person event in the summer of 2022, the other option is to convert your balance or a portion of your balance into a donation and receive a tax deductible receipt. (The minimum conversion amount is $200.)

  • What if I want to use my FlexNote balance for an in-person event?

    Our next in-person events are planned for June-August of 2022. We will be announcing dates and locations in the winter of 2022. You'll have to wait until spring of 2022 to sign up. If the dates and locations don't work out for you, you'll still be able to use your balance in future opt-in periods our ongoing online programs.

  • Can I donate a portion or all of my FlexNote balance?

    If you wish, you can convert part or all of your FlexNote balance into a tax-deductible charitable donation at any time as some have already done. You can choose to do this anytime. Just email us to let us know. (Symerge is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt public charity formed for the purposes of the public benefit.)

In summary...What can I do with my FlexNote balance?


  1. Use your FlexNote balance to sign up for one of our new online musical learning opportunities.  Using your FlexNote as payment is limited to a current opt-in period through December 31st 2021. (note, opt-in periods for memberships will be limited to only a few months per year, due to administrative constraints.) 
    1. Use FlexNote funds for an online course (currently ‘Creator’s Corner’ – learning some of Beth’s new pieces). NOTE: You must sign up by starting at this page.
    2. Use FlexNote funds for an annual Scor! membership. Membership features a constantly growing video library, bonus classes to help inspire your playing, and more. NOTE: You must sign up by starting at this page.
  2.   3. Wait until payments can resume based on re-built Symerge revenue, hopefully beginning fall of 2022.
