Scor! Strings

Beth is a violinist, performer, teacher, and business owner, in addition to being a composer. She has performed in many contexts from concertmaster and soloist to gigster and fiddler. As part of a string quartet and duo, she has frequently educated and performed for school children. Her teaching experience runs the gamut from college level to beginning private students and adult amateurs. Beth cofounded Scor! (String Camps for Adults) with her husband Kyle in 2001, and serves as Program Director & lead faculty. In addition to violin performance and pedagogy, she studied composition at the Eastman School of Music where she earned Bachelors and Masters degrees. She has presented several sessions for teachers at state and national conferences. Her article, “Unlocking Your Mind to Spark a Positive String Performance”, was published by Strings Magazine. She has composed music for a community grant project, a college graduation, orchestra tours, weddings, funerals, and for performances with colleagues and her students. Beth loves watching people grow, learn, be inspired & be transformed. She has a heart and desire to contribute positively to the lives of others.
